How it works
Aloe vera juice is widely available in health food stores and is really easy to use. It doesn't matter when you drink it, but if you consume it about 30 minutes before a meal, it can help digestion! Start with 2oz daily and work up to 4oz daily (I say this from personal experience, as starting with 4oz caused me to have loose stools).
This wonder plant can help heal leaky gut as well as reduce acid reflux and tame an inflamed digestive tract. It is also considered a prebiotic, which our bodies need in order for probiotics to work.
Note: Don't try to ingest aloe vera that is used for sunburn relief ;) it usually has a lot of chemicals and is not intended for ingestion! I like the brand "Lily of the Desert" for the juice that I buy.
